Well, here I am again...dabbling in the Nikon world. I was a always a Nikon shooter up until July 2006 when I decided to venture into the world of Canon. Canon lured me with tasty files and low noise ISOs (up to 1600 with the 5D).
Now I am being called back to Nikon with the beautiful D3. No noise ISOs up to 6400, 12.1 MP camera at 9 fps (frames per second). I am mostly an available light shooter and this camera may take me places where I dare not have ventured before. I am excited to use it and see what rockin' images it can produce for me.
I'll post some test images later and let you be the judge :)

March 20, 2008 • Portraits steven codella - head shots
Steven Codella is a handsome young man. He has Tom Cruise looks with that killer smile! Steven is starting his modeling career and asked me to do head shots for him last week. We met at Ritten House Square in Philly. I had photographed his sister's (Beth) wedding 2 years ago and that is how he heard about my photography.
Steven's sister, Beth, came to the session with her beautiful baby boy, Tyler. He just turned 8 months old.
As we ended the session, people dressed in green were running through Ritten House Square screaming as they whizzed by to the nearest pub for a frosty beverage to cella-brate St. Patrick's Day.
I think a few of these guys are aspiring to be future bridesmaids.

Well, here I am cella-brating another birthday today. This is the first year without my parents. They are visiting my niece and nephew who live in Puerto Rico with their grandparents for 12 days. I usually send my parents roses on my birthday with a card "Thank you for the gift of life". Without my parents, I would not be here today. I love you mom and dad. xo
I was born at 4:38am in the morning. Funny thing is that last year I woke up at exactly 4:38am and thought...wow, I just woke up on my birthday!
This photo is me in the 3rd grade. Notice the white barrettes. My mom used to put them in my hair at night before I went to bed telling me this was to "train my straight hair to stay in place". uh huh..that worked like a charm mom! I remember waking up in the morning with an imprint of the barrett on my forehead.
I haven't changed much..other than I just don't like to wear dresses anymore :)

March 14, 2008 • Weddings adrien + matt - the carriage house
Adrien and Matt were married on March 1st at St. Michael's church in Atlantic City, NJ. They were my 1st couple to be photographed for 2008. When they booked me last year, they emailed with "We have met with other photographers who have come with great recommendations but have been disappointed upon seeing their work does not compare to yours. We hope you are available for our wedding date. We are two of your biggest fans!"
Here is our beautiful bride, Adrien.
Waiting in the car outside of the church.
Matt sees Adrien as she walks up the aisle with her dad.
Big smiles as they are pronounced husband and wife.
St. Michael's church on Mississippi Avenue is beautiful. I love the marble floors.
Adrien and Matt had their lovely reception at The Carriage House in Galloway, NJ.
March 10, 2008 • News christine havrilla - cd cover
I had the pleasure of photographing Christine Havrilla last week for her new CD "In My Chair" which is scheduled for release on May 17 2008 at the World Cafe Live .
This image is of Christine leaving her chair to invite you to sit down and enjoy her music.
Christine is quite an accomplished guitarist. I am such a huge fan of hers. I hope to one day learn to play a few of her songs!
I asked Christine what was the inspiration of "Really, Really Good Kiss". She told me...but swore me to secrecy!
