Sara and Todd are getting married this Saturday at The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City. I emailed Sara last week to let her know that I was getting excited to photograph her upcoming wedding on September 5th. She replied "I am so excited too! I spent all night looking at your blog to pump me up. :) I wish we had an engagement session. "
So..... I said "what are you both doing this Sunday evening?" :) Sara and Todd were thrilled to meet with me and do their portrait just 6 days before their wedding day!
The gnats were awful - in fact a lot of people left the beach - but we rocked out the session!

Lauren and Michael are adorable! They were so excited for their engagement session this week. The weather was perfect, the ocean temp was unseasonably warm at 81 degrees and they came prepared with towels!
Their wedding is in August 2010.
Lots of natural smiles...they are so easy in front of the camera - I can't wait until the wedding!

They were laughing so hard that Lauren fell in the water! Michael caught her just in time! :)

August 18, 2009 • Weddings suzanne + kevin - surprise wedding at the flanders ocean city nj
Suzanne and Kevin had a surprise wedding at The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City NJ.
Of course, Suzanne and Kevin knew about their wedding - but none of their family and friends knew! Suzanne and Kevin have been together for 17 years. Suzanne told everyone she was giving Kevin a surprise 50th birthday party at The Flanders Hotel. No one was the wiser.
Suzanne and Kevin made their entrance from the Crystal Ball Room. Everyone started to clap and cheer - they even started to sing "Happy Birthday to You"! Then they started to point and look at each other in disbelief as Kevin announced they were here for their surprise wedding!

Kelley and Larry are awesome. They met me on the Ocean City Beach to do their engagement session. It was a real pleasure to photograph them - they were so playful! Their wedding is in July 2010.

Lauren and Joe are being married this October. They wanted to do their engagement session this month when the water was a little warmer. Lauren and Joe had booked me over the phone, so I had never met them in person before.
They were adorable!
The entire session was filled with laughter...
smiles...
and lots of kissing!
This is my favorite.
I can't wait to photograph their wedding this Fall!
